Aunt Mildred

May 31, 2017

Aunt Mildred is 94 years old and has all of her teeth!

This is the answer to the question:  At what age will I start losing my teeth?

Maddie graduated The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing this weekend.  It was a great party.  We love our children and are very proud of their accomplishments. We were happy to support them through universities of their choice.  We celebrated their successes  and consoled them on  their setbacks.

There are no more big tuition checks to write each semester!

We are done!

Happy Holidays!

The Fourth of July

July 10, 2016

Every year I run the Huntington Beach Fourth of July 5K just to convince myself that all my body parts are still working.  Last year I was recovering from two broken toes and could not compete.  This year I was fortunate enough to be joined by my daughter Maddie, my son Michael and his girlfriend Esther.  We all crossed the finish line, some a lot sooner than others!

Happy belated 4th!

We Care!

May 1, 2016

CDA Cares is an event put on by the California Dental Association to provide free dental work to some of the estimated 10 million Californians who do not have access to dental care.  This year Lis and Mai  joined me in Ventura County to provide some of these badly needed services. Approximately 2000 people were treated over the course of two days.
